At Jelly Tots, our rooms have been carefully designed and developed over 12 years to suit each stage of early childhood.
As children grow, their needs change, so each space is tailored to support their age, development and confidence, helping them feel secure and ready to learn.
Jelly Babies (3months-2years)
Our Jelly Babies room provides a calm, nurturing environment where our youngest children feel safe, secure and cared for from their very first day.
At this stage, strong attachments and consistent routines are key to healthy development, so we focus on:
✓ Building secure attachments through responsive, one-to-one care
✓ Following each baby’s individual routine in partnership with parents
✓ Supporting early communication through songs, stories and interaction
✓ Encouraging movement and sensory exploration in a calm environment
Jelly Tots (2-3years)
Our Jelly Tots room is designed for curious toddlers who are beginning to explore the world around them.
This stage is full of rapid development, where children are building confidence, communication and independence through play.

✓ Grow in independence through simple choices and routines
✓ Build social skills, sharing and early friendships

Jelly Beans (3-5years)
Our Jelly Beans room prepares children for their next stage by building the confidence, independence and skills they need before starting school.
The environment supports early learning while still allowing children to lead their own play and follow their interests.

✓ Build independence, decision-making and problem-solving skills
✓ Gain confidence in social situations and group activities

Sensory Room
Our sensory room offers a calm, supportive space where children can explore, regulate and engage at their own pace, helping them feel settled and ready to learn.
This space is particularly valuable for supporting emotional wellbeing and individual needs.

✓ Regulate their emotions in a calm, low-stimulation environment
✓ Explore sensory experiences through light, sound and texture
✓ Build focus and engagement at their own pace
✓ Take time to reset when needed
Forest Area
Outdoor learning plays a central role at Jelly Tots, and our forest area gives children regular opportunities to explore, take risks and learn through nature.
These experiences support both physical development and confidence.

Vegetable & Plant Growing Area
Our award-winning growing area gives children the opportunity to take part in hands-on experiences, from planting seeds to caring for and harvesting produce.

These activities support learning across all age groups, helping children understand where food comes from while building patience and responsibility. Through this, our children are able to:

✓ Build patience and responsibility by caring for plants
