Why I Created Jelly Tots

Built by Ana with care, experience and purpose

I created Jelly Tots from a genuine passion for early years education and a belief that childcare should feel safe, nurturing and personal for every family.

As a parent myself, I wanted to create more than just a nursery. I wanted to build the kind of place I would feel completely comfortable leaving my own children. Somewhere built around trust, strong relationships and genuinely knowing each child.

Over the past 12 years, Jelly Tots has grown through hands-on experience, continued learning and my studies in Early Years and Leadership.

Today, that same purpose remains at the heart of Jelly Tots: creating a calm, supportive nursery in Thetford where children feel secure, grow in confidence and are given the freedom and encouragement to learn.

At the heart of Jelly Tots is our exceptional team. Their passion, care and commitment shape the experience we provide every day, creating a setting where children feel secure, inspired and ready to explore.

As a parent myself, I created Jelly Tots to be a place where children feel safe, valued and truly supported. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve built a nursery focused on trust, care and giving every child the best start.

I work in the Jelly Tots room, where I love building warm, caring relationships with the children. Watching them grow in confidence and reach important milestones is incredibly rewarding.

I love watching children grow in confidence and reach new milestones each day. Being part of their learning journey is incredibly rewarding.

I love working alongside a passionate team where we support each child’s development together. Creating a positive, caring environment is what I enjoy most.

I enjoy working across all age groups and seeing how quickly children develop. Watching their progress and celebrating milestones is what I love most.

I love the warm, family feel at Jelly Tots and enjoy bringing a caring, big-sister approach to supporting the children each day.

I love preparing fresh, home-cooked meals that children genuinely enjoy. Knowing the food I make supports their growth and wellbeing makes my role very rewarding.

I started at Jelly Tots as a work placement and have grown alongside the nursery into my role today. I love seeing the impact our team has on children as they grow in confidence and settle into nursery life.

I love the opportunities for growth at Jelly Tots and the support from the team around me. It’s a positive environment where we are always encouraged to develop and improve.

I enjoy supporting children as they grow, learn and develop new skills every day. Building strong relationships with both children and families is a big part of what I love.

I love making a difference in children’s daily lives and being part of a busy, engaging environment. Working outdoors with the children and watching them grow is especially rewarding.

I’ve enjoyed transitioning into nursery work and being able to spend time supporting children’s learning and development. I also value the opportunities to continue developing my knowledge and qualifications.

I’ve grown through the nursery into my role today and love being part of children’s everyday adventures. Watching them build confidence, friendships and reach milestones is what makes my job so special.

Staying Connected with Families

At Jelly Tots Nursery, open communication with parents is an important part of what we do. We want families to feel informed, reassured and involved in their child’s day.

We use the Famly app to share updates, photos and important information about your child’s day, all in one place. When your child starts with us, we will show you exactly how the app works so you feel confident using it and can easily see what your child has been up to.

Alongside the app, our team is always happy to chat at pick-up and drop-off, and we also share updates through email, newsletters and social media.
